Family and friends gathered one balmy day last January 12th as Regina Angela “Angel” Santos, daughter of Reggie and Sari Santos said her “I do’s” to Dean Anthony Harris, son of Adrian and Pat Harris of Melbourne, Australia at the Madre de Dios Chapel, Tagaytay Midlands.

The bride looked radiant as she walked down the aisle in her father’s arms.  Her organza gown in pure white was perfect against her sun-kissed skin; she looked so stunning it took everyone’s breath away.  Her elegant- as- always mother, Naty Santos, pretty sisters and brothers were all in attendance.  Dean’s Aussie friends and family were also on hand to give him their moral support. Aunts, cousins and friends of the bride came in droves and added to the merrymaking that followed at the reception held in the Veranda of Tagaytay Midlands Golf & Country Club. The bride’s friends from University of Asia and the Pacific Chorale to which she belonged in college sang during the ceremony. It was a simple but beautiful wedding, marked by bursts of laughter and tears as the father of the bride shed tears while giving her away.  There was a lot of dancing which lasted till midnight and continued at the bride’s parents’ home that finally ended at 2:00 a.m.

The couple met in Singapore during a Conference for Traders. They have known each other for 2 years, with Dean visiting Angel in Singapore and in Manila to meet her family all this time.  The newlyweds headed to Palawan & Coron, with Dean’s family, shortly after their wedding.

Angel’s parents are ecstatic to have gained a son.  But, they are especially happy that the couple have decided to make Manila their home for now.
