Spread the love

Sheree Ann “Binky” Siao & Michael Capinpuyan had been an item in local circles for a few years.

When the couple finally decided that it was time to tie the knot, doting mother Irma Mae Neri Siao set the wheels in motion, leaving nothing to chance, to ensure that her daughter would have a beautiful, grand wedding.  And grand it sure was – from the Save the Date reminders to the church decor, the bride’s gown, the reception and all.

The Siao Family.

The bride looked radiant in her beautiful gown adorned with crystals that shimmered like diamonds, just like the diamond bracelet that adorned her slender wrist, and the groom, dashingly handsome in his suit. The United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP), where the couple was wed by officiating pastors Rev. Jonathan R. Pia and Rev. Jonathan M. Cal, was filled with spring flowers at the altar and aisles and gossamer white by the entrance.

Principal sponsors were Atty. Jeff Soriano, Atty. Matildo Aparece, Engr. Ben Akol, Messrs. Claro Capinpuyan, Melanio Siao and Alan Neri and 4 of the bride’s aunts – Dr. Dinah Neri, Daisy Katz, Lera Jo Burda, Edna Gay Chan, – Biema Along, Angelita Tariga and Rosario Ferrer. Best men were Karl Landoy and Carl Aparece, Matron of Honor Kathy Bacus and Maids of Honor, the bride’s sister, Marie Angielynn Siao and Suji Marie Trazo.

After the ceremony, the wedding entourage and all their guests hied off to Xavier Estates Country Club where a sumptuous dinner awaited them. Because the couple love to travel, the wedding motif centered on travel. Their Save the Date card was in the form of a passport and the multi-tiered wedding cake looked like a set of matching Louis Vuitton luggages.

Two Families are now One.

The highlight of the evening though was the first dance of the couple as husband and wife. Instead of the traditional waltz, they did a magnificent tango, to the delight of the mesmerized crowd. Everyone raved about the dance, the wedding ceremony, the reception, about what a handsome couple they made and all the other things that went into making it a wedding to remember. The accompanying photos clearly show what a lovely, grand wedding it was. It was indeed a night to remember and a lovely way to spend an evening.
