Cagayanons in America and Canada celebrate the feast of St. Augustine every year without fail and this year was no exception. They gathered in covered halls and parks to observe their town fiesta which this year happened to fall on a Saturday.

The Cagayanons of Washington State
The Cagayanons of Washington State partied at the lakeside vacation home of Nonoy & Marilyn Mascarinas.

The photos on this spread show how much fun everyone had. Most of them started off with a mass followed by a sumptuous lunch, a program, games for the children, and plenty of food to go around. It is a wonderful thing that Cagayanons, wherever they are, take time to remember their roots, their hometown and the traditions that remind them of home. Celebrating the town fiesta is one such way to keep home alive in our minds and hearts.
